Went down for breakfast before heading down to the Grand Canyon. 30 minute wait to be seated, not a problem, we knew they were short staffed. We saw a bunch of tables cleaned off and we were next in line. A gentleman that we assumed was the manager was very pleasant and apologetic, and took my husband and myself and a family of four, that was behind us. He sat the family of four at a table and pointed out three tables that we could choose to sit at, but apparently webpicked the wrong one. Three other parties were seated and attended to, so we got the attention of the gentleman. He apologized and said he would send the waitress over immediately. My husband did see him talk to a waitress, right after. She then proceeded to attend to two other tables that were seated after us. After 30 minutes seated at the table we still didn't even have water or coffee, or spoken to a waitress. When my husband got up to say we were thinking of leaving, the manager just said I'm sorry and didn't attempt to make it right. What a waste of time. We weren't going to waste anymore time there that we could be spending at the canyon Sad this place is rated so poorly its a wonderful resort.

Food quality was simply lacking. Fruit buffet was ok. You don’t get that much breakfast and it’s expensive for what it is.
