Brewed Awakenings Coffee Co.
Independent coffeehouse with a drive-thru offering espresso drinks, breakfast eats & frozen yogurt.
About
Right on the historic Route 66 strip in Williams, Brewed Awakenings Coffee Co. is the small-town coffee shop that keeps South Rim-bound travelers loyal — a 4.5-star rating across more than 1,500 reviews for a shop this size is no accident. It's an independent coffeehouse with a drive-thru, serving espresso drinks, breakfast eats, and frozen yogurt out of a cozy space that fills up fast on canyon-trip mornings.
What to expect
The menu leans into specialty espresso — reviewers single out the honey-lavender latte and the frappés — alongside smoothies, yogurt parfaits, homemade pastries, and breakfast sandwiches like an egg-and-cheese on bagel. Gluten-free eaters are well looked after here, with celiac-safe prep and dedicated GF bread and packaged options. When the line inside gets long, as it often does on busy mornings, the drive-thru on the west side of the shop keeps things moving.
- Hours: open daily, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Price: budget-friendly ($)
- Location: 326 Historic Rte 66, on the north side of the street, Williams
It's a small shop with local art on the walls, a handful of tables, and street parking that can be tight at peak times — but the friendly, fast service is what keeps people coming back before or after a day at the canyon.

The staff were kind, helpful and personable. I ordered a dirty chai, which they call something else (I forget). The BEST chai i think I have ever had. My husband had a drip coffee and enjoyed it but said it was mild with not much flavor. Their blueberry scone was also delicious. A bit more cakey than what I've experienced with scones but it was good! I could actually taste the blueberry! They use whipped cream cheese for their bagels and it is good too. Highly reccomend!

Really loved this place! The ambience was great, and the location is perfect—right in the heart of Williams, so it’s a really nice spot to stop and relax while walking around town. The coffee was honestly one of the best I’ve had in a while. I ordered the Meadow Latte with lavender and espresso, and it was seriously so good. The flavor was unique without being overpowering, and I’d definitely order it again. Overall, great coffee, great atmosphere, and a really nice little spot to hang out while exploring Williams. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in town!
