Brewed Awakenings Coffee Co.
Independent coffeehouse with a drive-thru offering espresso drinks, breakfast eats & frozen yogurt.
About
Right on the historic Route 66 strip in Williams, Brewed Awakenings Coffee Co. is the small-town coffee shop that keeps South Rim-bound travelers loyal — a 4.5-star rating across more than 1,500 reviews for a shop this size is no accident. It's an independent coffeehouse with a drive-thru, serving espresso drinks, breakfast eats, and frozen yogurt out of a cozy space that fills up fast on canyon-trip mornings.
What to expect
The menu leans into specialty espresso — reviewers single out the honey-lavender latte and the frappés — alongside smoothies, yogurt parfaits, homemade pastries, and breakfast sandwiches like an egg-and-cheese on bagel. Gluten-free eaters are well looked after here, with celiac-safe prep and dedicated GF bread and packaged options. When the line inside gets long, as it often does on busy mornings, the drive-thru on the west side of the shop keeps things moving.
- Hours: open daily, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Price: budget-friendly ($)
- Location: 326 Historic Rte 66, on the north side of the street, Williams
It's a small shop with local art on the walls, a handful of tables, and street parking that can be tight at peak times — but the friendly, fast service is what keeps people coming back before or after a day at the canyon.

Wonderful group of people. who are great at their craft. As a former barista, I'm picky about my coffee, the atmosphere of the place and the process of making the coffee. 1st day I came in it was slow, the Apple Pie Latte was amazing. Wasn't sure what to expect out of it, but it was awesome! The 2nd day I came in, they handled the rush well. And the best sign you have a good barista, is you can hardly hear the milk being steamed (unlike at Starbucks and other places.) Keep up the great work everyone!!!!! Trust and believe you'll be my first stop any time I'm visiting Williams again!

Really good cup of coffee. Extremely crowded place, though.

We came BACK! Which tells you its a good place! We try to support local businesses when we travel. Today we went inside. WOW was it cool! Got our coffee, ate our breakfast inside - and bought a local artist art work. Oh and a cool sarcasm sticker for one of our girls! KAILEY ROCKS! (Joe's wife poster) We wanted coffee on the run. Open at 6 am very helpful! Looks like a great place to go inside!

Such a cute place! I really enjoyed this cafe. The staff is friendly and helpful. I got the Java chip frape. Unlike some places, you can really taste the coffee. It is sweet but not overly so. The turkey, bacon bagel is delicious. They also have a small shop with shirts, cups and lots of fun stickers to browse. Just a fun place to eat a sandwich and drink delicious coffee. I liked everything about it. Good experience and I’d love to come back someday. ❤️
